Mikayla Fuentes
Mikayla Fuentes is an artist from Northwest Indiana. She got her start working with her dad in their home studio growing up, and has been recording and songwriting ever since she can remember. To her, the most important part of songwriting is weaving a world where the listener can feel “completely immersed in the story” of the song. She creates this atmosphere through a combination of her own creative production and intentional lyricism, inviting the listener to fully experience all of the feelings expressed in her music.
Mikayla’s musical inspirations are all over the map, ranging from iconic bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Cranberries, to modern artists such as Adele, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift. She believes that artists are at their best when they are constantly learning from each other and challenging themselves to step out of their musical comfort zone. We hope you enjoy her music
